A local health authority in the UK is seeking an enthusiastic team player for a role in public health. You will work within a team to support the development of health management approaches, engaging with partners in education, health, and social services. The ideal candidate will have expertise in public health analytical techniques, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities. To help us achieve our ambitions we are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, team player to join our developing public health team. Working within a team of four health intelligence specialists you will support the development of public health and population health management approaches within the emerging integrated care system, working in partnership with council and NHS intelligence functions, providing timely analysis, evaluation, and intelligence to support collective planning and delivery.
Collaborative working is integral to delivering for our residents and you will engage in effective working relationships and productive partnerships with all the relevant partners, including those in e.g., education, health, social services, Independent and voluntary sectors, and within the new NHS Integrated Care Board (ICB) structure (at regional, ‘place’, and neighbourhood levels).
