Operating across three distinct product groups namely commercial, defence and business jet products, this role is an opportunity to join a team putting the finishing touches to our highly technical products.The manufacturing facility houses some of the most advanced machining technology in Europe such as a multi axis NDT robotic machine, automated material cutting machine and multi axis CNC machining centres. Occupational health and safety and environmental sustainability are also an integral part of our business strategy, and we believe in implementing environmental, health and safety improvements to continually enhance the working environment for staff, visitors and contractors.**Key Responsibilities:*** Provide specialist training and develop the skills of current operators.* Provide specialist tools/knowledge/skills to undertake complex composite lay-ups.* Provide specialist laminating skills to develop a manufacturing method for new work packages (NPI).* Guide Supervision on Clean Room best practice and operational improvements.* Take responsibility for lean initiatives and liaise with Engineering on existing program improvements.* Drive cleanroom activities to achieve or exceed target layup times and quality metrics.**Training & Experience Requirements:*** Attention to detail.* Proactive and strong team player with excellent communication skills.* Ability to work with accuracy, attention to detail and to strict deadlines* Ability to work within set guidelines and to follow instructions* Hardworking, enthusiastic, flexible and able to use own initiative* Work within guidelines set out in all Works Procedure Manuals and the Quality Procedure Manual* Experience in composite laminating essentialTeledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
