Salary: £12.46 per hour – 40 hours per week. Permanent full‑time position.

We are looking for a friendly, passionate and energetic receptionist to join the team at Malmaison in York.

You will be the face of our hotel, dealing with all guest inquiries, providing exceptional service and ensuring an unforgettable experience. As the first and last point of contact, you will set the tone for each visit and make sure everything goes above and beyond before guests leave.

Key responsibilities include:

• Welcoming guests and handling front‑desk operations.
• Managing enquiries, bookings and guest complaints efficiently.
• Ensuring a high standard of service and maintaining hospitality charm.

Requirements:

• Natural hospitality charm and passion for service.
• Strong people skills and ability to make guests smile.
• Commitment to excellent standards and team spirit.
• Experience in hospitality or front‑desk work is an advantage.
