About The Role

Floor Manager, Sora Sky Bar at Malmaison York – Permanent Contract, York. The biggest and most exciting venue to come to the city this year is looking for a passionate Floor Manager. Competitive salary plus TRONC.

Sora Sky Bar is a stunning one‑of‑a‑kind bar and restaurant offering the best Asian Fusion tapa & cocktail experience, located on the 7th floor of the Malmaison Hotel with views over the historic Minster and the city beyond – a workplace to be proud of.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead from the front and roll your sleeves up when required; you are not just a title.
  • Deliver high‑volume service and be able to demonstrate this experience on your CV.
  • Create and maintain the ultimate guest experience.
  • Manage a large team, demonstrating strong people skills, natural charisma and the ability to manage individuals as well as the team.
  • Learn financial management, stock and wages control over time.
