Job summary
A leading automotive service provider is seeking a motivated Mobile Smart Repair Technician in Milngavie, Scotland. This full-time position requires traveling to various locations to perform smart repairs on vehicle sales stock. Successful candidates should have a full UK driving licence and experience in smart repair or spray painting, along with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities
- Travel and carry out smart repairs on vehicle sales stock.
- Prepare vehicles for paintwork, including masking.
- Carry out minor damage repairs and polish vehicles.
Skills
We’re currently recruiting for a motivated Mobile Smart Repair Technician to work across the Glasgow region.
- Additional opportunity to earn up to £9,000 every three years in performance-based bonuses – terms and conditions apply.
- 44 hours per week
- Starting from 33 days’ annual leave, increasing with service

Full time: Monday - Thursday 8am – 5.30pm and Friday 8am - 4.30pm
As a Mobile Smart Repair technician, you’ll travel around various locations, carrying out smart repairs to our vehicle sales stock to an excellent standard. You’ll be fully mobile, with access to one of our fully equipped smart repair vehicles.
The right person for the job will be energetic and self‑motivated, with the ability to work on their own initiative, and excellent people skills. What’s more, you’ll have a great eye for detail and take pride in doing a meticulous job.
- Preparing vehicles for paintwork (including masking)
- Carrying out minor damage repairs
- Polishing to remove defects from vehicle paintwork
- Mixing paint to apply to vehicles
- Applying paint products correctly and to a high standard
- A full UK driving licence
- Smart repair/Spray painting experience
- An excellent eye for detail
- The ability to multi‑task
- Willingness to work on your own initiative
