Hardware Technician (UK Based) Location: Corby (Onsite – 5 days a week)

RS Group is seeking a Hardware Technician to join our permanent team. In this role, you will work closely with our engineering and technology teams to support local and remote users, ensuring that all onsite hardware and presentation equipment operate effectively. You’ll play a key part in maintaining a smooth technology experience for internal teams while helping to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

What you’ll be doing
  • Partnering with the wider technology team and cross-functional departments across the business
  • Managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting presentation and AV equipment onsite
  • Preparing devices, peripherals, and associated hardware for end users
  • Tracking, repairing, and redeploying returned or faulty devices
  • Receiving ongoing mentoring and training from the regional engineering team to grow your technical capabilities
  • Performing daily checks on all presentation and meeting room equipment
  • Working in line with local processes, legal requirements, and health & safety standards
  • Ensuring compliance with Group and Global IT policies, processes, and procedures
About you

This is an entry‑level position designed for someone eager to start or develop a career in End User Computing. You’ll gain hands‑on experience with modern hardware, collaboration tools, and technologies including Teams Rooms.
