A leading engineering firm in Nottingham seeks an experienced civil engineer specializing in airfield infrastructure. You will oversee the delivery of design, modeling, and reports, and supervise junior team members. The ideal candidate holds a civil engineering degree and has over 5 years of experience with Civil 3D and aviation projects. Working within the Midlands Transport Roads Civils and Aviation team, you will be involved in the production and delivery of airfield infrastructure design, modelling, drawings and reports and the supervision of more junior members of the team.
You will hold a professional qualification in civil engineering with over 5 years of airfield infrastructure civils 3D modelling experience, delivery of aviation projects, and design liaison with internal and external clients. You will have extensive knowledge of 3D modelling (Civil 3D) and experience of designs to airfield design standards such as EASA, ICAO, CAP168.
The candidate will need to be able to work on their own initiative under minimal supervision, be a strong team player with good people skills, highly motivated, have great attention to detail and understand the importance of getting things right first time.
