The mission for the role:

Popsa exists to help people capture and celebrate the stories that shape who they are. As our Editorial Assistant, you’ll help build Perspectives into a global destination for unforgettable human stories — spanning travel, family, culture, creativity and the memories that define us. You’ll support the Head of Editorial to develop thoughtful editorial that inspires people everywhere to rediscover the moments that matter. From research and planning to idea generation and publishing, you’ll help bring editorial concepts to life and ensure our content has real emotional impact.

What success looks like in your first 6 months
  • Confidently manage the editorial calendar and ensure deadlines are consistently met
  • Support the commissioning process and step up to lead tasks when required
  • Contribute story ideas and write regular features for Perspectives
  • Maintain accurate editorial documentation and provide smooth administrative support
  • Track published content and deliver clear performance reports to the team
  • Collaborate effectively with writers, designers, and marketing partners to deliver great work
  • Work with the sub editor and designers to deliver 100 articles
  • Build a contributor network by onboarding 20 new contributors
  • Pilot 1-2 new content franchises
What you bring to the team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for storytelling
  • Organisational and multitasking skills suited to a fast‑paced environment
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace; familiarity with CMS tools is a plus
