Qualifications

• Qualified Swimming Instructor or a passion/willingness to achieve qualification.
• Experience in planning and executing swimming lessons.
• Ability to build confidence in the water.

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out swimming lessons to increase customer skill.
• Provide feedback to customers to help them improve.
• Ensure a safe environment and manage resources effectively.

Skills

Experience of instruction groups of mixed age and abilities

Knowledge of the National Plan for Swimming Teaching

Good oral communication and interaction skills

Flexible approach to working hours

Education

STA Award/Certificate or SEQ Level 2

Willingness to achieve the NRASTC Light qualification
