Job summary

A national residential care provider based in Macclesfield is seeking a Senior Residential Support Worker. The role requires a caring, resilient individual with at least 2 years of experience in residential childcare. You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality care and supervising staff in a children's home. The position offers a salary of £33,096 - £35,800 along with various benefits including bonuses for outstanding Ofsted outcomes. A Full UK driving licence is required.

Working Hour: Full-time / Shift pattern

Number of Sleeps Required: As required

Pay Per Sleep: £50 per sleep-in

Service: Children’s Home

Service Users: YPs – SEMH, EBD, Trauma, Behavioural & Emotional Difficulties

Qualifications Required: NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children’s and Young People Workforce

Experience in Years Required: Minimum 2 years in residential childcare

Holds a Full UK manual driving licence

  • You only hold a Level 3 in Health & Social Care (not deemed equivalent).
  • Candidates with only HealthCare, NHS, CQC, or Nursery Practitioner qualifications will not be considered.
  • You require sponsorship – no sponsorship available.

Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Children’s Home will not be considered.
