Job summary

A family-owned residential care provider in Stoke-on-Trent is looking for a passionate Senior Children’s Residential Care Worker to provide high-quality, child-centred care. You will work with youths facing emotional and behavioral difficulties in a small, supportive home. Required qualifications include NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People and a Full UK Driving Licence. 🧩 Job Title: Senior Children’s Residential Care Worker
📍 Location: Stoke-on-Trent & Newcastle-under-Lyme
💷 Salary: £29,186 – £30,434 per annum (including sleep-ins)
⏰ Working Hours: 173 hours per calendar month (equivalent to 40 hours per week)
💰 Hourly Rate: Included within salary
🛌 Number of Sleeps Required: Yes (included in rota)
💷 Pay Per Sleep: Included within salary
🏠 Service: Children’s Home
👧🧒 Service Users: YPs with EBD, trauma, challenging behaviour
🎓 Qualifications Required: NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People (or equivalent – desirable)
📆 Experience in Years Required: Experience within children’s residential care essential
📄 Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
