Guest Service Assistant - part time 16 hours a week contract over 2 days

Lighthouse Hotel Management are recruiting for the exciting role of part time Guest Service Assistant at the Holiday Inn Express Cambourne - Cambridge West.

The successful applicant for this role will deliver excellent customer service and have strong administration and computer skills with a good telephone manner, have a positive and confident ‘can do' attitude and be willing to learn. You will be a team player to assist in all areas of the front of house operation.

• A proven track record in a similar role
• Good organisation, communication and planning skills gained through previous experience

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-moving environment.

• Desire to learn and develop.
• Strong communicator that loves to chat to our guests.
• Someone who comes to work with a smile and wants to make sure everyone around you leaves with a smile.
• Smart professional appearance
• A sense of humour

NICE TO HAVE:

• Hotel reception experience.
• A good working knowledge of hotelsystems is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work under pressure independently.
• Basic kitchen experience.
