Job summary

A leading aerospace company is seeking a Business Development Manager in the UK to identify and acquire new product licensing opportunities. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of business development experience in aerospace, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to build relationships at all levels. The role involves engaging with licensors, preparing business plans, and leading negotiations to drive revenue aligned with company goals. This position also includes annual leave, a bonus scheme, and support for personal wellbeing.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ experience in business development or a directly related field.
  • Solid understanding of P&L, cash flow, and commercial modelling.
  • Technical appreciation of aerospace products and systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying and acquiring new product licensing opportunities.
  • Preparing business plans and cases to support new opportunities.
  • Leading commercial negotiations to ensure balanced risk and reward.
