A children's support organization in the United Kingdom is seeking a Children's Support Worker who enjoys outdoor activities and working closely with young individuals aged 8-18. This role involves working four consecutive days including overnights, leading adventurous activities, and providing emotional support. The ideal candidate has a full UK driver’s license, is over 21, and holds a passion for helping vulnerable children. About Keys Group Activity & Intervention:
This position requires you to reside at our activities centre overnight during your working days to provide consistent support to the children. Accommodation and meals will be provided to you throughout your stay.
With Keys Group, you will be working in an activity-based residential home specifically designed to support young people aged 8-18. These young individuals often face social, emotional & mental health challenges.
Our Activity and Intervention service offers a 12-week programme for these young people to offer a change of scenery. We offer a break from difficult circumstances, a fresh start and help them to build up their confidence by enforcing positive routines through activities.
While your primary role is that of a care worker,a strong focus on adventure and staying active is key to the role — think mountain biking, rock climbing, walking, kayaking and much more. If you love adventure and being outside, you’ll fit right in!
