Job Title: Therapeutic Child Care Worker (Qualified / Practitioner Grade) 🌿🏡

Location: Hartlepool 📍

Salary: £17,615.00 (25 hours equivalent) 💷

Working Hour: Rota-based (early & late shifts, weekends, sleep-ins) ⏰

Hourly Rate: Not stated

Number of Sleeps Required: Sleep-ins are required 😴

Pay Per Sleep: £40 per sleep-in (any time woken is paid in addition) 💷

Service: Children’s Home 🏡

Service Users: YPs – trauma, neglect, emotional needs, challenging behaviour (may include physical aggression at times) 🧠

A qualified Residential Childcare practitioner who brings calm consistency and a therapeutic mindset. You’ll support safe routines, education engagement, positive identity, and work within clear behaviour and risk frameworks.

A specialist children’s residential provider with two homes offering different settings and pace:

The Oaks (4-bed): more active, supporting younger children

The Elms (2-bed): calmer, supporting older children towards independence

Driving Requirement
