A specialist residential children’s care provider in Salisbury is seeking a committed Residential Team Leader to manage and lead a small, caring team. The role involves overseeing the daily operational needs of the home, ensuring high quality therapeutic care for children aged 7-14 years with complex needs. Job Details

Job Title: Residential Team Leader
Location: Salisbury, Wiltshire
Salary: £27,977 – £29,690 per annum DOE plus sleep-ins
Working Hours: 39 hours per week (average, rota basis)
Number of Sleeps Required: Approx. 2 per week
Pay Per Sleep: £50 per sleep-in (on top of salary)
Service: Children’s Home
Service Users: YPs – 7 to 14, EBD, Trauma, Complex Needs

Qualifications Required
  • QCF Level 3/4 in Children & Young People (or equivalent)
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Experience in Years Required: Residential experience working with children
Employment Type: Permanent, Full‑time
Closing Date: Monday, 16th February 2026

⚠️ Do not apply if you only hold HealthCare, NHS, CQC, or Nursery Practitioner qualifications. Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted‑registered children’s home will not be considered.
