Job summary

A leading courier service provider in Manchester is seeking an Inside Sales Executive. This office-based role is focused on driving growth in the SME market through managing a portfolio of existing customers. Responsibilities include engaging customers via outbound calls, generating new business opportunities, and achieving KPIs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proven telesales success, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle objections, with a background in CRM usage, particularly Salesforce. A DBS check is required as part of the recruitment process.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in telesales or inside sales with revenue growth.
  • Exceptional communication skills in written and verbal form.
  • Strong objection handling techniques to engage customers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of existing customers with regular outbound calls.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities through data analysis.
  • Achieve set KPIs including appointment generation for executives.
  • Support local operational teams with customer queries effectively.

Skills

Proven success in telesales or inside sales
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle objections and engage customers
Skilled in cross-selling and upselling
Experience transitioning accounts from non-trading
Ability to build multi-contact strategies
