Hours: 8:30am-6pm (Mon-Fri, occasional Saturdays may be required)

Competitive Salary: £20,000-£22,000 basic salary, plus commission.

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Build to Rent Lettings Negotiator to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the leasing of high-quality rental properties within our Build to Rent (BTR) portfolio in Canary Wharf.

As a Build To Rent Lettings Negotiator, you will:

• Qualify new applicants and guide them through the lettings process from initial enquiry to tenancy agreement and move‑in.
• Arrange and conduct property viewings with professionalism and enthusiasm, and in‑depth knowledge of our BTR developments and amenities.
• Handle inbound enquiries and generate interest through proactive marketing and networking.
• Negotiate tenancy terms to secure the best outcome for both landlord and tenant.
• Conduct referencing checks and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation is met.
• Deliver exceptional service to applicants, residents and landlords.
• Manage client expectations effectively, aiming to exceed them every time.
• Collaborate with the BTR in‑house teams to ensure a seamless move‑in experience.
• Introduce new business opportunities.

Key Requirements

• Previous experience in lettings, sales or a customer‑facing sales role – BTR experience is advantageous but not necessary.
• Strong negotiation and sales skills with a customer‑centric approach.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• A proactive and driven attitude with a passion for property.
• Knowledge of relevant rental legislation and compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
