Rolls‑Royce Motor Cars is based in Goodwood (near Chichester).
CR‑T‑52 is involved in sustaining the consistent high quality of Rolls Royce's products through their entire lifecycle from concept to production.
The range of expertise from complex analysis to precision measurement allows possible issues to be swiftly identified, contained and rectified.In conjunction intricate dynamic topics can be detected through means of ATG and road testing and investigated further within the analysis workshop.
Our Total Vehicle Validation apprentices learn all aspects from car assembly, workshop environment, future product development and vehicle testing as well as aftersales insight and a wide understanding of the business.
The two years spent in the apprenticeship gives you all the base knowledge, skills and support required to move into a role as a future analysis vehicle technician.The duration of your apprenticeship will be split between your time in college and a plant based environment here in Goodwood - The Home of Rolls‑Royce Motor Cars. When not in college, you will be based in plant shadowing colleagues and developing your technical knowledge in the analysis workshop. Furthermore, you have the option for various placements throughout the business. This is a very practical apprenticeship where you will gain lots of hands‑on experience and are encouraged to be an active member within a skilled team.
Total vehicle Validation is the ideal starting point for anyone who wants to become a multi-skilled technician. You need to be someone with lots of questions about how things work and have the confidence to seek out the answers.If you’re inquisitive, enjoy hands‑on work, and want to build a career in car development this is the perfect role for you. The perfect candidate will have a thirst for knowledge, drive, a positive attitude and take pride in their work.

When it comes to selecting the right apprentices, it’s as much about attitude and behaviours as it is about vocational and academic success. That’s why in addition to the qualifications we require from you, we’ll also look for you to have a range of skills, attributes, and behaviours. These include team working, the ability to work without close supervision, quality focus, good communication skills, enthusiasm, initiative, and the ability to take on responsibility and show accountability for your work.
You will learn all you need to do this role at college and in the workplace. For this reason, you do not need a qualification, or experience to apply. An interest in the profession or making things is strongly advised.
Three A-Levels including Mathematics at Grade C or above or equivalent.
