Class 1 Driver - Flexible Shifts & High-Value Deliveries
Job summary
A leading logistics company in Stafford is seeking HGV Class 1 drivers to ensure deliveries of high-value goods across the UK. The role offers a competitive salary of up to £43,364.05 per annum, including 33 days of holiday. Key responsibilities include timely collection and delivery services, adherence to safety and legislative guidelines, and maintaining strong customer relationships. Successful candidates will hold a valid Class 1 licence with CPC and a Digital tachograph card, along with good communication skills. Training will be provided for those with prior experience in multi-drop logistics.

- Must not have more than 7 points on licence.
- Experience in multi-drop collection and deliveries preferred.
- Prior experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Collect and deliver high-value consignments to Screwfix stores.
- Ensure customer expectations are consistently met.
- Complete and return all documentation accurately.
- Adhere to specific time restrictions mandated by legislation.
- Follow company policies and legislation in driving activities.
- Perform inter-site and intra-site deliveries around the UK.
