Gray Healthcare are recruiting a new team of mental health support workers in Norwich to support a gentleman in his 40’s who has a diagnosis of Acquired Brain Injury and Mental Health. He will be living independently in his own home and will receive 1:1 support 24 hours a day. The gentleman enjoys attending boxing sessions, playing group football and is a huge Arsenal football club fan.

He will be supported by a male‑only team on mixed shifts of days and waking nights.

• Social care experience, ideally within mental health and with some experience of supporting individuals with an acquired brain injury.
• Experience providing encouragement to a person with complex health needs and Learning Disabilities.
• Experience supporting individuals with behaviours which may be considered challenging.
• Experience implementing detailed care plans and risk assessments.
• You must have current Right to Work in the UK and have been employed in the UK for at least 6 months. We no longer have any certificates of sponsorship available and are unable to consider sponsorship.
• This position is subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.

22 hour Contract

1 x 12 hour day shift, 8am to 8pm per week

10:00am – 8:00pm every Sunday

We provide an initial week of training which is a combination of online training (Company induction, systems, and Medication). You will then complete person‑centred training, specific to the person that you are supporting. Training continues throughout your time with Gray Healthcare, and we encourage you to develop and grow your career with us.
