A specialist health and social care provider in Norwich is seeking male mental health support workers to provide tailored support for an individual with acquired brain injury and complex health needs. Responsibilities include delivering 1:1 assistance and implementing care plans. Candidates must have relevant social care experience and current Right to Work in the UK. Gray Healthcare are recruiting a new team of mental health support workers in Norwich to support a gentleman in his 40’s who has a diagnosis of Acquired Brain Injury and Mental Health. He will be living independently in his own home and will receive 1:1 support 24 hours a day. The gentleman enjoys attending boxing sessions, playing group football and is a huge Arsenal football club fan.
He will be supported by a male‑only team on mixed shifts of days and waking nights.
22 hour Contract
1 x 12 hour day shift, 8am to 8pm per week
10:00am – 8:00pm every Sunday
We provide an initial week of training which is a combination of online training (Company induction, systems, and Medication). You will then complete person‑centred training, specific to the person that you are supporting. Training continues throughout your time with Gray Healthcare, and we encourage you to develop and grow your career with us.
