We at Mitie are offering a full-time position as a Cleaning Supervisor at Clarks Village, Somerset.

Within the role you will join an established, professional team, leading in daily operations, to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of a large outdoor shopping centre in Street, Somerset.

You be responsible for the management of equipment, keeping all tools clean, tidy and in safe working order, meeting all agreed Service Level Agreements.

Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning areas, when work needs to be carried out and develop a sound understanding of all cleaning equipment and chemicals used while following Health and Safety requirements.

You will need to complete training required to deliver the cleaning role. You will need to be able to work within a team as well as working under your own initiative.

Positive and productive working relationships with all customers must be built, ensuring to deliver excellent customer service, seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.

The role consists of but isn't limited to:

• Inspection and quality control
• Supervising daily routine cleaning tasks
• Routine patrolling including inspections
• Exceptional customer service
• Leading waste management
• Machine use
• Training staff
• Health and Safety Compliance

The ideal candidate for the position is punctual, has high standards of personal hygiene and upkeep, have a high level of written and oral skills, has a Right to Work in the UK. Must have at least two years supervisory experience in cleaning.

A flexible approach to the role is required. You will need to be open, honest, self-driven and determined. You'll need to be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.
