- Proven track record of managing or leading a football academy or youth program at a high level, with a deep understanding of coaching methodologies, talent identification, and player progression.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire staff, players, and stakeholders.
- A thorough knowledge of safeguarding policies, legislation, and regulatory standards to ensure the safety and well‑being of all young players.
- Relevant coaching qualifications, such as the UEFA Pro Licence or equivalent, and a commitment to continuous professional development.
- Innovative, strategic thinking and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive environment within the academy.
- A demonstrated passion for nurturing talent and upholding the highest standards in a challenging yet rewarding setting.
An Enhanced DBS from Sunderland AFC is required.
