You’ll collaborate with talented engineers and product experts to build scalable, containerized applications that power NCR Atleos' next-generation service ecosystem.We are seeking a **Software Engineer** with strong expertise in **Python development**, **containerization technologies**, and **SQL** to join our dynamic team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions that power mission-critical applications.**Key Areas of Responsibility*** Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Python.* Implement and manage containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) for deployment and scalability.* Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.* Develop and optimize SQL queries and database schemas for high-performance data operations.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and secure solutions.* Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.* Contribute to continuous integration and deployment pipelines.**Basic Qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).* 3-5 years' experience in **Python** programming and related frameworks.* Hands-on experience with **containerization tools** (Docker, Kubernetes).* Strong understanding of **unit testing frameworks** (e.g., pytest, unittest).* Solid knowledge of **SQL** and relational database design.* Familiarity with **CI/CD pipelines** and version control systems (Git).**Optional Skills (preferred but not required)*** Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).* Knowledge of microservices architecture.* Exposure to Agile development methodologies.#LI-Hybrid#LI-AGOffers of employment are conditional upon passage of screening criteria applicable to the job.**EEO Statement** NCR Atleos is an equal-opportunity employer.
