First Aid Trainer

Location: Preston, Lancashire (candidates must reside within 50‑mile radius)

Salary: £25,209 to £26,997 per annum (qualification dependent)

Hours: 35 per week excluding travel (Mon‑Sat, 9‑5, occasional evenings)

Contract: Permanent

Driving Requirement: Full UK driving licence and vehicle (mileage reimbursed)

Are you interested in taking on a key role in delivering first aid training and specialised courses, teaching essential life‑saving skills?

Responsibilities
  • Conduct first aid training and specialist courses, equipping people with essential life‑saving skills.
  • Teach the right actions to take in different emergency situations, such as when people are unresponsive or have suffered burns.
  • Support people in gaining confidence to provide potentially lifesaving help in an emergency.
  • Travel to training venues throughout Lancashire.
Qualifications
  • A natural communicator with a confident, engaging personality who thrives when speaking to groups.
  • Strong aptitude for active listening, problem‑solving, debating ideas, and providing constructive feedback.
  • Possess a Training or Teaching qualification, or have a willingness to work towards one.
  • Comfortable working independently and traveling to various training locations using your own vehicle (travel time reimbursed).
  • Have experience preparing and delivering a range of training courses, with assertiveness in presenting to mixed ability groups.
