Whether we’re delivering high quality engineering and technical services or programme management, we always deliver the solution that’s right for them.## Your roleYou will work within small to medium sized multidisciplinary teams. To benefit from the collective experience of the team, our clients, and drive innovative thinking, you’ll work in a collaborative and supportive office / site environment for a minimum of half of your working week. You may also be based at client offices or plant sites. You will bring a level of commercial awareness to working within those teams to effectively deliver tasks for multiple workstreams and to deliver to time, quality, and cost.## About you* Degree qualified mechanical engineer (or other relevant qualification).* Experience in originating and progressing designs from concept through to detailed design, to a given set of requirements and constraints.* Good working knowledge solid mechanics, engineering materials, structural and thermal engineering.* Ability to perform design calculations from first principles.* Proven strong problem solving, organisational and interpersonal skills.* Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills with a proven ability to write accurate, detailed, and concise technical reports.*Please flag if you have experience in any of the following (but still apply if you might enjoy gaining that experience too):** Providing innovative design solutions to meet challenging requirements, drawing from a mix of industry experience and the ability to produce novel designs.* Experience in working with design codes such as ASME BPVC Section III, RCC-M, BS EN 13480, BS EN13445.* Understanding of systems engineering principles and the ability to apply V&V techniques across different phases of product development.* Supervising less-experienced engineers and students, providing them with challenging projects, monitoring their progress and providing constructive feedback.* Or if you are chartered with a relevant professional institute (or approaching application for registration).## Reward & benefitsExplore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive – at every stage of your life and your career.
