EPCM Procurement Lead – Chemical & Industrial Projects
Job summary
A leading consulting engineering firm in the UK is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager on a contract basis. The role involves overseeing all procurement activities for a major chemical project, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and managing strategic sourcing. Candidates should have a minimum of 7 years in procurement within the chemical or industrial sectors and possess strong negotiation skills for complex contracts. Familiarity with ERP software such as SAP or Oracle is also required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years' procurement experience in heavy industrial projects.
- Strong understanding of technical procurement for engineered equipment.
- Proven track record in negotiating complex supply and service contracts.
Responsibilities
- Planning and executing all procurement activities for a chemical project.
- Managing strategic sourcing and negotiating supply agreements.
