Job summary
A prestigious educational institution in Cambridge is looking for a permanent Gardener. This part-time position involves working both independently and in a team, maintaining the College’s outside properties, and ensuring high horticultural standards. Christ’s College is seeking to appoint a permanent Gardener.
The person appointed will work alone and as part of a small team of gardeners under the supervision of the Head Gardener. The main work will be focused at the College’s outside properties, and but some work will also be on the College’s main site.
The purpose of the job is to carry out each task to the highest possible standard and to contribute to develop excellence in horticulture at the College.
Salary: Spine Points 27-29, £15,937.09 - £16,686.12 per annum (prorated salaries)

Vacancy Type: Part-time, 21.75 hours per week, permanent
- 33 days’ annual leave pro rata (including bank holidays)
- A defined contribution pension scheme with 6% (minimum) employer contribution.
