Job summary
A leading engineering service provider located in Kintore, UK, is seeking an individual to support operational functions including asset management and workshop duties. Responsibilities
- Assist with workshop duties including mobilisation / demobilisation.
- Manage internal movements of materials and stock.
- Ensure STATS vehicles are maintained and deliveries are timely.
Skills
To be responsible for the operational support requirements for asset management, mobilisations, equipment return, stores and yard area of STATS, ensuring delivery of a quality product and service is continually achieved to both internal and external customers.

- Assist with workshop duties including mobilisation / demobilisation and equipment to standards and procedures set out by STATS.
- Assist with yard and stores duties including supporting the management of internal movements of materials and stock in accordance with STATS procedures and processes.
- Assist in the upkeep of housekeeping standards ensuring all areas are well maintained.
- Assist with the safe and efficient warehouse operation to meet internal customers’ requirements ensuring full control and visibility of materials & equipment.
- Support other departments as and when required, which may include manual handling, cleaning, assembly/disassembly of tools and general labouring.
- Ensure the STATS vehicles are always kept tidy and well maintained.
- Ensure deliveries and collections on behalf of STATS are undertaken in a timely and safe manner to meet both internal and external customer expectations.
- Support the long-term development, implementation and maintenance of STATS Group stock control systems and procedures.
- Support and assist in the overall delivery of company objectives.
- To comply with STATS and Client quality, safety and environmental management systems and procedures at all times.
- Ensure all accidents / incidents / near misses / hazards are immediately reported and relevant paperwork is complete.
- Mechanical / Yard / Stores / Driving experience.
- Environmental Awareness
- STATS Internal Courses – Basic Level
- Previous experience in a workshop / yard / stores environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations.
- Good organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines.
- Forklift license up to 16T.
- Manitou experience.
- Understanding of Environment, Health and Safety.
- Basic level of understanding in materials, stores and yard functions and responsibilities.
- A positive attitude and pleasant manner.
- Ability to be flexible in working practices (hours, activities etc.).
- Good Interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work both as part of a team or as an individual.
- Appreciation and understanding of environment and health & safety responsibilities.
- Ability to manage a large number of varied tasks.
