Opto-MechanicalDesign&Integration
- Leadthefulldesignlifecycleofcomplexopto-mechanicalsystemsfrominitialconceptthroughtoproductionrelease.
- DevelopCADmodelsanddetaileddrawingscompliantwithinternalqualitystandardsandproductionrequirements.
- Definemechanicaltolerancesandconstraintsinalignmentwithopticalandthermalperformancerequirements.
Cross-FunctionalDevelopment
- Collaboratewithoptical,thermal,systems,andelectronicsengineerstodefineinterfacerequirementsandachieveoptimalsystemintegration.
- Driveprototypebuildsandvalidationefforts,supportinghands-onassemblyandtestingwhereneeded.
Performance&ReliabilityAssurance
- Supportenvironmentalqualificationincludingshock,vibration,humidity,chemicalresistance,andtemperatureextremes.
- ApplyDFM,DFA,andDFTprinciplestoensurerobust,scalable,andcost-effectivedesigns.
TechnicalDocumentation&Review
- Preparetechnicaldocumentationincludingspecifications,interfacecontroldocuments,andverificationplans.
- Leaddesignreviewsandcontributetothedevelopmentofinternalengineeringstandardsandbestpractices.
- Providetechnicalguidancetojuniorengineersandactivelyparticipateinteamdevelopmentandtechnicalknowledgetransfer.
- Bachelor’sdegreeinMechanicalEngineering,OpticalEngineering,oracloselyrelateddiscipline.
- Atleast10yearsofexperienceinthedesignandintegrationofprecisionopto-mechanicalsystems.
- Expertiseinopticaltolerancing,thermalandstructuralanalysis,andmechanicalintegrationofopticalelements.
- Proficiencyin3DCADtoolssuchasSolidWorks,Creo,orNX.
- Experienceinenvironmentaltestingandqualificationofmechanicalassemblies.
- StrongcommunicationanddocumentationskillsinEnglish.
- Experienceinsectorssuchasaerospace,defence,oropticalinstrumentation.
- Familiaritywithpolymersorlightweightmaterialsusedinopticalsystemenclosures.
- ExposuretoAI-drivendesignoptimisationormultidisciplinarysystemdevelopment.
