Role Overview: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Freelance PR Account Executive or Senior Account Executive to join our team. In this role you will support with implementing PR strategies, manage media outreach, and support day-to-day campaign activity for a range of exciting brands within the outdoor, sports, fashion and lifestyle sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, influencers, and VIPs across print, digital, and broadcast media to secure high-quality coverage.
Assist with day-to-day client communications, ensuring exceptional client service and timely follow-up.
Craft compelling press materials, including press releases, media alerts, and tailored pitches for targeted outreach.
Manage press sample logistics and coordinate product send-outs to support media placements.
Monitor, track, and report on PR coverage, providing accurate insights and campaign performance reports.
Support the planning, execution, and reporting of PR and influencer campaigns, including research, logistics, and administrative tasks.
Provide general administrative support such as meeting notes and coverage reports to contribute to the success of client projects.
Qualifications:
Previous experience working in a PR agency or in-house communications team, ideally within the outdoor, sports, fashion or lifestyle sectors.
Confident communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks across different accounts.
