A leading engineering company in Exeter seeks a Principal/Senior HV Plant Design Engineer to work within their Energy team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and experience in HV substation design. Responsibilities include leading FEED and detailed designs, collaborating on innovative energy projects, and engaging with clients. Principal/Senior or Experienced HV Plant Design Engineer (Substation Design) opportunity within Stantec’s Energy team. This role involves working on a wide variety of projects across technical disciplines for clients nationwide, including HVDC, interconnectors, windfarms, substations, OHL, geotechnical solutions, building design, protection systems, LVAC, FEED, new builds, refurbishment works, and connection schemes. The role supports FEED design and detailed design for substation refurbishment/extensions and new-build projects, collaborating with other disciplines and key T&D clients in the UK.
