Job summary
A leading tech firm in the UK is seeking a Senior Developer skilled in AWS services including S3 and Lambda, with a strong understanding of security principles in cloud environments. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, experience in CI/CD pipeline management, and familiarity with Docker and monitoring tools. This position is focused on fostering effective DevOps practices within the team.

Experience with SQL, and NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB.
Strong understanding of security principles within the AWS environment, including RBAC and the principle of least privilege, storing credentials securely using Secrets Manager/KMS, and handling sensitive data such as email addresses and tokens securely.
Building and managing continuous integration and delivery pipelines is a key skill. Experience with Git and GitHub Actions.
Understanding of services like Amazon Step Functions to implement complex workflows - Desirable.
Experience of working with Docker and ECS.
Good understanding of DevOps / DevSecOps concepts.
Monitoring and debugging – familiarity with tools like Datadog.
