Performance Software (a U. S. company) and Auvation (a UK company) have merged to create midsize companies with a great work-life balance, providing innovative software and hardware to our client companies. We are looking for passionate Software Engineers to design and develop software solutions for state-of-the-art safety-critical systems in the areas of Avionics and Submarines to join our team. This is a full-time position that is located in either Cardiff or Cheltenham.

Salary Range:

£50,000-70,000 DOE

Requirements

· Bachelors or advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent development experience

· Software development experience involving any of the following: VXWorks, Ada, DO-178, RTOS, Device Drivers or avionics displays

· Proficiency in at least one language such as C, C++

· Embedded software experience is desired but not required

· Experience with safety critical programs is a plus
