This is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring a safe, compliant, cost-effective and future-ready fleet operation that supports both daily Service delivery and long-term business growth.What You’ll Be Responsible For* Developing and delivering the fleet strategy, including growth, replacement and lifecycle planning* Ensuring full legal compliance with DVSA and Operator’s Licence requirements* Overseeing vehicle maintenance, roadworthiness and inspections* Leading driver compliance, safety, training and performance management* Managing fuel, telematics and operational efficiency through data-led decision making* Owning the fleet budget, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and supplier contracts* Driving sustainability initiatives, including low-emission and EV transition* Producing performance, compliance and cost reports for senior leadership* Managing external suppliers and service partners* Leading risk management, health & safety and incident response* Acting as key liaison with regulators, insurers, auditors and internal stakeholdersWhat We’re Looking For* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Transport, or a related field (or equivalent experience).* CPC (or equivalent)* Proven experience in fleet or transport management within a multi-site operation* Strong knowledge of UK transport legislation and Operator’s Licence compliance* Experience managing budgets, TCO and supplier contracts* Confident use of telematics, fuel systems and fleet analytics* Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills* A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a strong safety and compliance mindset### ### #LI-Hybrid### #LI-CDYJoin the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
