An established general practice in Manchester City Centre is looking to make an appointment in their established tax practice team in the North West. A strong presence in the UK and due to an increasing portfolio of work this firm is now looking to bring in an experienced Tax Manager.
Joining a well-established accountancy firm in Manchester City Centre as a Tax Manager, you manage your own portfolio of mixed clients including largely SMEs, Charities and other third party providers. Working closely with the two current Tax Partners you will take a greater focus on supporting clients with corporate tax needs.
- Manage and run your own portfolio of clients being a main contact and assisting with a variety of different corporate tax queries.
- Supporting your portfolio with a range of tax compliance and accountancy services
- Review and supporting juniors with corporate tax computations, reviewing and submitting.
- Work with your client base supporting with any tax advisory needs.
- Manage, support and develop staff members across the tax team
- A great working culture different to that of a large accountancy firm, with your work life balance and workload of real importance to the firm.
- Flexible & part time working options (Very supportive to working parents or other family commitments)
- Work from home options available with firm allowing up to 3 days per week from home
- Varied and interesting workload allowing you to support both a compliance and tax advisory portfolio across the UK.
- Previous experience working as a Tax Manager or Assistant Tax Manager, supporting a portfolio of similar SME / OMB style clients.
- Be confident in abilities to support and run corporate tax compliance cycles
- Experience managing and developing juniors would also be useful>
