Job description

We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Group Finance Manager to join our team in Paisley. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading the financial reporting and strategic financial management of our Group. You will oversee the preparation of statutory accounts in accordance with FRS102, coordinate audits with external auditors, and ensure compliance with tax obligations across the Group. Your expertise will help optimise cash flow, maintain a robust control environment, and support senior leadership in making informed business decisions. Collaborating with internal teams and external advisors, you will drive process improvements, ensure risk mitigation, and enforce high standards of financial governance. This position demands a proactive approach to financial management within a dynamic, sustainable manufacturing environment, supporting our commitment to innovation, quality, and environmental responsibility.

To be successful you will need:

  • Accountant qualification (ICAS, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong technical accounting background
  • Proven experience in group consolidation, statutory accounts preparation, and audit coordination
  • Demonstrated ability to design and enhance financial controls, processes, and reporting frameworks
  • Experience developing KPI metrics and delivering insights to senior stakeholders
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to partner effectively with senior leadership and external advisors
  • Commercial acumen and strategic thinking skills to support business growth and optimisation
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership qualities
