- Undertake on-call duties for rapid response situations such as bridge strikes.
- Contribute to safety-critical site duties and quality/environmental improvements.

Candidates in the pool will be first in line for upcoming trainee examiner roles, training academy intakes and related opportunities.
Our network includes thousands of structures: buildings, viaducts, bridges (over, under and at footways), subways, retaining walls and culverts. As a Structures Examiner you will contribute to safety by examining these structures and supporting the Examining Engineers team.

- A structured training plan leading to an STE4 qualification.
- Home start contract with home‑working allowance.
- Hands‑on mentoring from a competent examiner with years of experience.
- Use of a company vehicle for site work.

Roles are typically home‑ and site‑based, with work generally within a 60‑minute commute of your local area. Indicate your preferred territory when you join the pool.
Delivered mainly within your territory, with occasional travel and accommodation for central training sessions.
Salary: we follow a structured pay framework. A starting salary will be offered at £29,690 for trainees with no previous relevant experience, or £31,952‑£36,516 depending on existing skills. Stage 1 salary: £38,228; Stage 2: £40,510; Stage 3: £41,081. Click apply now to apply.
