A leading logistics firm in Belfast is seeking a Customs Agent to manage compliance and facilitate the movement of goods. The successful candidate will have experience in customs processes for Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This role plays a key part in supporting the smooth and compliant movement of goods through customs. You will be responsible for accurate data entry, ensuring adherence to all customs regulations, and working closely with internal teams, customers, and external partners. The position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a proactive approach in a fast‑paced customs environment.
You are an experienced customs professional with hands‑on knowledge of customs clearance processes for both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. You are confident working with systems such as TSS, eCustoms and Thyme‑IT, with a strong understanding of key customs requirements including GMR, PBN and ENS. You have excellent attention to detail and are comfortable interpreting commercial documentation, including invoices, packing lists and INCO Terms. Organised and reliable, you are able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining compliance in a fast‑paced environment, and you work well both independently and as part of a collaborative customs team.
