Job summary
A leading AI consultancy is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join their team in Sheffield, UK. This hybrid role requires a strong background in Machine Learning with a focus on AIOps and experience with Python. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in document AI and production-grade ML solutions, alongside exposure to deep learning and various frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch. This position offers a competitive rate and is suitable for UK citizens or those without visa sponsorship requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in Machine Learning with AIOps.
- Document AI / Intelligent Document Processing experience required.
- Hands-on experience with Python and production-grade ML solutions.
- Exposure to Deep Learning, NLP, Generative AI.

Location: Sheffield, UK (Hybrid: 3 days office, 2 days remote)
Contract: Inside IR35, Market Standard rate
Visa: Open to UK Citizens, ILR, or those who do not require visa sponsorship (no sponsorship provided).
- Strong experience in Machine Learning with AIOps
- Document AI / Intelligent Document Processing, including OCR for text and image‑based data
- Hands‑on experience with Python and production‑grade ML solutions
- Exposure to Deep Learning, NLP, Generative AI, and open‑source ML models
- Experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, SpaCy, OpenCV, or similar
- Understanding of secure, resilient, production‑ready ML applications
- Azure services (VMs, AKS, Azure DevOps, Azure CLI)
- PostgreSQL
- ServiceNow Orchestrator, RPA (Power Automate), LLMOps, Azure Cognitive Services
