Junior DevOps/Backend Developer - £30-35k DOE - Immediate Start

We work closely with creators, talent managers, and brands across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and beyond — combining commercial expertise with a deep understanding of the creator economy.

We’re hiring a Junior DevOps/Backend Developer to support our technology infrastructure and platform development. This is a hybrid role split 50/50 between backend development and DevOps operations, with opportunities to contribute to IT infrastructure management as the company scales. You’ll work closely with our engineering team to build and maintain the systems that power our creator partnerships, developing APIs and services while also managing deployments, monitoring, and cloud infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to gain broad technical experience across the full development and operations lifecycle.

The Role 💻

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using C# and .NET Core
• Build and optimise SQL database schemas, queries, and stored procedures
• Implement secure authentication and data handling practices
• Manage and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure (App Services, SQL Database, Storage, Key Vault)
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Monitor application performance and system health using Azure Monitor and Application Insights
• Automate deployment processes and infrastructure provisioning
• Support production releases and respond to incidents

Skills and Experience 🎯

• 1-2 years of professional experience in backend development, DevOps, or a related technical role
• Strong foundation in C# and .NET Core/ASP.NET Core
• Experience with Azure cloud services (or strong willingness to learn)
• Solid understanding of SQL databases (Azure SQL, SQL Server) and T-SQL
• Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative development workflows
• Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD platforms
• Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Knowledge of containerisation technologies (Docker)
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform)
• Exposure to PowerShell or Python scripting
• Experience with API design principles and RESTful services
• Knowledge of security best practices and OWASP guidelines
• Previous experience in fintech, SaaS, or high-growth startups
