This role involves approaching end customers and working with resellers to close deals. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree and at least five years of sales experience, preferably in channel management. You collaborate with customers and translate their needs within the capabilities of the product, whether it concerns a small local customer or a large multinational. As an SR Business Development Manager, you will approach end customers and work closely with resellers to jointly close the best possible deal with your prospect. You understand your customer inside out and respond to their needs in a smart way. You will have the freedom to develop your own business plan with a clear forecast. You are given a lot of autonomy to operate as a pioneer. It is your responsibility to achieve your goals, among other things by generating new business. Although leads can be provided by business partners or the marketing department, you are capable of finding these on your own also when necessary.
