While many roles at Coinbase are remote-first, we are not remote-only. In-person participation is required throughout the year. Team and company-wide offsites are held multiple times annually to foster collaboration, connection, and alignment. Attendance is expected and fully supported.

The Echo team is responsible for two innovative products in the capital formation space; Echo and Sonar. We are a small team that operate as a startup within the larger org, and we’re committed to shipping impactful product at a fast pace. Echo, our marketplace for private investments has facilitated over 300 deals and $150m invested since 2024, and Sonar, our public sales and compliance platform, enables customers to run their own token sales. To date, sales using Sonar’s technology have received over $1.5b of commitments. Our engineering team works across the whole stack and is empowered to take ownership of large projects.

Work in a small team to iteratively improve user experience

Take new features from ideation, to prototyping, to user testing, to production

Design web and mobile experiences that are simple and intuitive

Participate in regular design reviews where you’ll seek out specific feedback on your designs and incorporate relevant feedback

Execute on the product roadmap and help define product strategy

Daily collaboration with Engineering, User Research, and Product

3+ years of professional Product Design experience

Bachelor's degree in a related field

Experience designing consumer-facing experiences for web and mobile

Excellence in UX thinking, visual design, and written communication

Experience working in a collaborative environment with engineers, user researchers, and product teams

Fluency in Figma and prototyping tools

Low ego, collaborative, and open minded

Interest in crypto or financial products

User of Coinbase products

For select roles, Coinbase is piloting an AI tool based on machine learning technologies to conduct initial screening interviews to qualified applicants. The tool simulates realistic interview scenarios and engages in dynamic conversation. A human recruiter will review your interview responses, provided in the form of a voice recording and/or transcript, to assess them against the qualifications and characteristics outlined in the job description.

For select roles, Coinbase is also piloting an AI interview intelligence platform to transcribe and summarize interview notes, allowing our interviewers to fully focus on you as the candidate.
