Job summary
A caring support service based in Wolverhampton is seeking a Personal Assistant (PA) to help an individual with complex care needs. This role includes assisting with personal care, domestic duties, and providing support during social activities. Ideal candidates should have previous care experience, be hoist and medication trained, and possess a clean driving license. Flexibility in working hours is crucial as shifts may start early in the morning. Competitive pay at £13.50 per hour is offered.

To assist with a variety of tasks which enable the person who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.
Assisting a 56‑year‑old Gentleman who is a wheelchair user with Cerebral Palsy and is non‑verbal, with all aspects of day‑to‑day living. He lives with his family in Wednesfield and is a very pleasant, sociable individual who has a passion for music.
- Social stimulation – attends a Day Centre.
Assist with personal care: transfers using a ceiling hoist, washing, dressing, continence care, monitoring skin integrity, medication support.
Domestic duties
- Laundry, ironing, weekly deep clean of bedroom and wet room and all equipment.
- Meal preparation – all meals are pureed; fluids thickened to reduce choking risk.
- Values: honest, reliable, punctual, non‑judgemental, building trust‑based relationships, flexible, adaptable, easy‑going, independent, positive, willingness to travel, understanding equality & diversity.
- Specific Requirements: previous care experience, clean driving licence desirable, hoist trained, medication trained.
Up to 30 hours a week – applicant must be flexible. AM shifts start at 7 am – 09:45/13:00.
13.50 per hour.
