Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar environment at a Senior level.

  • Full driving licence is desirable.

We’re looking for a passionate and committed Registered Manager to Dual Register for our two homes in Hinckley and Thringstone. One home is an existing 3 Bed EBD home, the other is a brand new home opening in 2026!

Your Role as a Registered Manager:
  • Lead with vision, compassion and integrity, ensuring children receive outstanding care, support and guidance tailored to their individual needs.
  • Be the voice and advocate for both your team and the children, creating a home where safety, respect and aspirations thrive.
  • Empower your team to deliver therapeutic, child-centred care that leads to real, lasting outcomes.
  • culture that is warm, inclusive, and resilient, where young people feel safe, valued and inspired.
  • Oversee all operational aspects, including safeguarding, care planning, compliance, and team development.
  • Mentor and develop staff, cultivating future leaders through coaching, supervision and training (including QCF Level 3 facilitation).
  • Lead service development, budget management and continuous improvement across all areas of home performance.
Requirement
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience working within a similar environment at a Senior level.
  • Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young Peoples workforce.
  • Achieved or working towards Level 5 Diploma in leadership for Health and Social Care services (Children and Young Peoples management qualification).
  • Strong knowledge of legislation and safeguarding procedures such as The Children Act 1989, Childrens home regulations.
  • Experience of budgets and financial management.
  • Fully committed to achieving the best outcomes for children.
  • Full driving licence is desirable
  • Ability to work flexibly and carry out on-call duties.
