Job summary
A leading consulting firm in Sheffield is looking for a Sr Java Backend Engineer to join their team. This role is hybrid and demands significant experience in backend development with Java. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Spring Boot for creating REST APIs and Microservices and experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. The position offers competitive daily rates ranging from £450 to £550. Strong communication and team collaboration are essential.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of strong backend development experience using Java.
- Hands-on expertise with Spring Boot for REST APIs and Microservices.
- Experience building and deploying containerised applications using Docker.
- Solid working knowledge of Kubernetes for deployment and scaling.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
