Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caretaker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need, ensuring their well-being and comfort. This role requires a strong commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment, as well as the ability to engage positively with those in your care.
Responsibilities
Provide assistance with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
Maintain a clean and organised living space through regular commercial cleaning tasks.
Monitor the health and well-being of individuals, reporting any concerns to relevant professionals.
Engage with individuals through conversation and activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
Assist with mobility needs, ensuring safety during movement around the home or facility.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in the individual’s condition.
Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
Skills
Proven experience in a caregiving or similar role is preferred.
Strong skills in commercial cleaning practices to maintain hygiene standards.
