Public Area Attendant – The Hoxton

We are looking for a Public Area Attendant to join the team at The Hoxton, Shepherd’s Bush. The Hoxton Shepherd’s Bush is our fourth London location, located in the heart of Shepherd’s Bush, in an eclectic and diverse neighbourhood. It offers 237 playfully designed bedrooms, an all‑day restaurant – Chet’s, a large open lobby with vintage seating and cosy corners, a central wraparound bar and terrace, and easy access to West London.

What you’ll do
  • Be responsible for the cleaning and servicing of public areas, ensuring they are always cleaned to brand standards and well presented.
  • Report any maintenance defects in public areas and back of house through KnowCross.
  • Ensure that all public areas adhere to all brand standards and quality audit standards.
  • Clean and maintain exterior areas of the hotel including guest entrances and loading bay areas.
  • Oversee the delivery and collection of linen and terry on a daily basis.
  • Stock linen and housekeeping supplies on guest floors and in stores, ensuring storage areas are clean and well maintained.
  • Ensure guest floors are clean and well maintained at all times.
  • Assist with other tasks to support the housekeeping team as required.
  • Maintain Health & Safety standards and report any breaches to the Head Housekeeper.
  • Handle cleaning materials correctly and be fully aware of COSHH regulations.
  • Attend all required training sessions.
  • Maintain a positive and friendly attitude at all times, even when working to find solutions to challenges.
  • Provide the highest level of customer care, offering a friendly, helpful, and responsive service to our guests.
  • Assist in cleaning of public areas and back of house areas as required.
