Contract type: Full time (must be flexible, day and night 12 hour shifts)

Rate: £22.52 per hour

Walton Grove is our brand new home that supports adults living with acquired brain injuries, complex mental health needs, dementia and physical disabilities.

The home has communal dining and living spaces, sensory bathrooms, an activities hub, a therapy room, a beauty salon and accessible gardens.

This is a highly skilled nursing role where you’ll be accountable and responsible for supporting people’s holistic needs. It requires a range of clinical and nursing skills.

You’ll provide the highest standards of nursing care for adults living with complex care and health needs. Our care focuses on maximising independence and building everyday living skills.

No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Assessing, planning and providing person-centred nursing care for the people we support.
• The safe administration of medication.
• Promoting health and wellbeing.
• Being the Nurse in Charge of a small unit whilst on shift.
• Managing situations when people display behaviours of concern.
• Promoting choice, dignity, independence and respect.

Walton Grove is a short drive from the M60. If you're travelling on the M60, take junction 22. Follow the A62 (Oldham Road) for 1.2 miles and then left onto Guido Street. There are limited parking spaces in the home's car park. Street parking is available in the surrounding area.

The home is a short walk from several bus stops.

Brown Street bus stop (stop ID: MANATDTA), which is accessed by buses 83 and 84.

Ashton Road West bus stop (stop ID: MANATDTD), which is accessed by buses 83 and 84.

Oldham Road bus stop (stop ID: MANAMAGT), which is accessed by bus 159.

Failsworth (pink line) - 0.3 miles away (7 minute walk).
